Mike’s Bio

Mike has more than 20 years of real-world professional experience cutting award-winning documentaries, reality-style TV programs, trailers, short films, web videos, corporate & training products and TV spots for high profile clients and TV networks.

His credits as lead editor include 70+ hours of globally televised content seen by millions of viewers.  Throughout his career he has proven his skills at working with network executives and collaborating with teams of producers, shooters, graphic artists, audio engineers and composers.  He’s also just as comfortable independently building a project from scratch.  Either way, he’ll get the job done.

During years of both offline and online editing for major production companies and on numerous independent projects, he’s developed outstanding creative and technical attributes that allow him to quickly and comfortably adapt to and thrive in any post-production environment.  His drive to produce meaningful and stimulating content under a deadline and his obsession with streamlined workflow as both a team player and independent problem solver will make him a great asset as the editor on any project you have in mind.

Contact Mike today to make him a part of your team.

PS – Mike knows that many editors are also Directors, Producers, Writers, Composers, Graphic Designers and can build your website.

Mike has successfully done many of those things from time to time when the situation called for it.  But this is an Editor’s website.

Mike was the lead Editor for everything you’ll see on this site.  He’s spent a lot of time studying the result of his efforts on prime time TV and even then considering what improvements could be made if only he could get his hands on that sequence again!

With that said, he’s satisfied that if you hire him it will be for his Editing experience.  And maybe some night while you’re waiting for a sequence to export he’ll tell you about helping to rig up an emergency bamboom pole for his sound guy while directing a film in Jamaica…

Until then, feel free to visit his Corporate/Graphics page to get a feel of the work he does when not editing shows for primetime TV.
